Counselling Psychotherapist (Integrative Humanistic)

Karl Fortune

Work Experience
Since graduation, Karl has worked extensively with clients dealing with issues such as bereavement, addiction, anxiety, marriage breakdown and sexuality. I view the therapeutic encounter as a collaboration between myself and the client with no pre-conceived or pre-assumed answers or solutions. Each client’s issues are unique themselves and the way forward can be discovered in a trusting and non-judgemental environment. As Carl Jung (1875-1961) said “Those who look outside, Dream; Those who look inside, Awaken”

Philosophy
Karl offers client centred, integrative approach to psychotherapy which also incorporates an interest in both Existential and Gestalt therapies.
