Work Experience: Having initially trained with The Marino Therapy Centre in eating disorder recovery, Andrea continued to work with the centre for more than seven years. Combining her own personal experience and her training she worked as part of a team guiding people through their recovery process. Andrea has also completed training in eating disorders with the National Centre for Eating Disorders UK. With Andrea’s previous work background and her training in various aspects of coaching she now works in general life and business coaching with a special interest in body image issues and unhealthy relationships with food and body. Andrea uses a forward moving coaching approach to explore the relationship you have with food, your body and yourself. Coaching is a forward moving process which empowers people to realise their own self worth and identify and overcome obstacles which might be holding them back. A Coach can help you clarify your goals, identify obstacles holding you back and come up with strategies for overcoming those obstacles.
Underpinning Philosophy: Andrea works with people who are unhappy with where they are in life right now, whether it be personally or professionally. Coaching is a partnership that facilitates a client’s self-awareness so they can make the changes they are looking for. During a Coaching session you can expect to be met with compassion and empathy and given a space for you to discover what is holding you back in life. Each session is tailored toward the individual as each person has a unique perspective on life which is held in positive high regard. Throughout the Coaching partnership you can expect to develop a greater understanding of yourself and your potential, to stay on your agenda for the session and to move forward towards the desired outcome.
