
Siobhan Carr
Academic Background : Siobhan graduated with a Masters in Social Work in 2005 and then went on to complete a Diploma in Counselling/Psychotherapy. Siobhan believes in an integrative approach and has additional training in Solution Focused Therapy, DBT, CBT and a Certificate in Advanced Clinical Skills in Compassion Focused Therapy taught by Paul Gilbert, Siobhan is accredited with IACP.
Work Experience: Siobhan has worked in the HSE for 17 years in a variety of settings such as mental health, primary care and children and family services. Siobhan has facilitated anxiety management, stress management and positive parenting groups. Siobhan works with a wide range of issues such as shame, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, self-harm, relationship conflict, self-esteem, loss and bereavement, fertility issues, work stress and life transitions.
Therapy: Siobhan uses a humanistic and integrative approach and provides a warm, compassionate and non- judgemental space to explore your current difficulties. Siobhan believes that each person is unique and an expert in their own life and tailors her approach to fit your needs.
