Underpinning Philosophy
At certain times in our lives we can find life situations and experiences to be overwhelming. Having someone who will sit with and support us while we go through these experiences and develop deeper insight into ourselves can facilitate greater change and growth to emerge from within than we ever thought possible. Kieran’s humanistic and integrative psychotherapy approach leads the client on an exploration of life experiences and symptoms which has led to the current difficult situation or crisis. In his practice he draws on a variety of theoretical schools and therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychoanalysis, Family Systems Therapy, Developmental Psychology, Gestalt Theory, Object Relations Theory and Existential Psychotherapy.
