Nutritional Therapy

Jennifer Creedon

My name is Jennifer Creedon, I’m a registered Nutritional Therapist and Reiki Master. My passion for health and wellness began in my 20’s when I started to suffer from IBS and recurrent migraines. I visited a Naturopath when living in Australia to explore alternative solutions as I wasn’t improving with treatment using the traditional healthcare model.

After cleaning up my diet and starting some herbs and supplements, I was amazed by the transformation in my energy levels and overall wellbeing. This experience changed the course of my life. It was then I began to gain an understanding of how imbalances in the body can lead to illness and inflammation, which further inspired me to become a Nutritional Therapist and then a Reiki Master some years after.

Nutritional Therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine and follows the functional medicine model, which allows us to work together to address the root causes of underlying health concerns to achieve optimal wellness. It is a holistic approach to health. My aim is to inspire my clients to take control of their health and wellbeing through conscious and lifestyle adjustments. I truly believe in the healing power of food and the healing power of our own bodies.

I’ve trained as a Reiki Master who undertook all 3 levels of training and have seen first hand how this restoring practice can benefit your health & wellness. It is a gentle energy healing system that is a very simple, yet powerful process. Being able to offer Reiki as well as Nutritional Therapy means I can offer support at all levels, creating a true holistic approach to my clients health and wellbeing.

Work Experience

Joanne has worked in both public and private psychotherapy practice as a student and graduate psychotherapist. She works in a humanistic integrative way, focusing on the client and their potential for growth and self-integration. Methods are adapted based on the client’s needs and what they bring to the room, as opposed to using one fixed method. Joanne has experience working with issues such as depression, anxiety, identity issues, trauma, addiction, family systems, abuse, and relationship problems.

Underpinning Philosophy

Although trained in a humanistic manner, Joanne pulls from the integrative elements of her training quite frequently by using methods from psychodynamic, gestalt and existential therapies.
