Patrick Hamill

Work Experience

Patrick is a fully accredited psychotherapist with several years’ experience working with adults across a broad range of mental health concerns. Through this work, he has developed a strong, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to supporting clients in navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. In recent years, he has chosen to deepen his practice by specialising in child and adolescent psychotherapy. He is currently undertaking advanced specialist training at Master’s level, further strengthening his clinical expertise in this area. This builds on his existing experience and reflects his commitment to providing developmentally attuned, high-quality care for younger clients.

Underpinning Philosophy

Patrick’s approach is integrative, combining Child Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with Play Therapy and Art Therapy. This allows him to tailor sessions to each child or young person’s unique needs, creating a safe and engaging space where they can express themselves, build resilience, and develop coping skills. He places great importance on forming a strong therapeutic relationship, working collaboratively with young people and their families. His aim is to support each client in feeling understood, empowered, and better equipped to manage the challenges they face.

Patrick Hamill

Work Experience

Joanne has worked in both public and private psychotherapy practice as a student and graduate psychotherapist. She works in a humanistic integrative way, focusing on the client and their potential for growth and self-integration. Methods are adapted based on the client’s needs and what they bring to the room, as opposed to using one fixed method. Joanne has experience working with issues such as depression, anxiety, identity issues, trauma, addiction, family systems, abuse, and relationship problems.

Underpinning Philosophy

Although trained in a humanistic manner, Joanne pulls from the integrative elements of her training quite frequently by using methods from psychodynamic, gestalt and existential therapies.
