Gemma Collins

Gemma is a pre-accredited member of the IACP and a fully qualified psychotherapist, holding an MSc (Hons) in Integrative Psychotherapy. Gemma believes that the foundation of successful therapy lies in the therapeutic relationship and strives to create a warm, client-centred, and collaborative environment. Within this space, she can support her clients in achieving their therapeutic goals, gaining deeper insight, and accessing their individual agency.

Work experience

Gemma uses various psychotherapeutic approaches, including Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychosexual Therapy, Systemic Therapy, and Couples Therapy. With four years of experience working with individual clients, she aims to provide a supportive holding space where clients can explore what has been affecting them. Gemma Collins

Work Experience

Joanne has worked in both public and private psychotherapy practice as a student and graduate psychotherapist. She works in a humanistic integrative way, focusing on the client and their potential for growth and self-integration. Methods are adapted based on the client’s needs and what they bring to the room, as opposed to using one fixed method. Joanne has experience working with issues such as depression, anxiety, identity issues, trauma, addiction, family systems, abuse, and relationship problems.

Underpinning Philosophy

Although trained in a humanistic manner, Joanne pulls from the integrative elements of her training quite frequently by using methods from psychodynamic, gestalt and existential therapies.
