Underlying philosophy
As a systemic psychotherapist, I view emotional distress and relationship difficulties not as problems within an individual, but as patterns that develop within families, couples, and wider social contexts. My approach is rooted in the belief that our lives are shaped by the relationships and systems we are part of, and that meaningful change often comes from understanding and reshaping these patterns together. Rather than focusing on blame or pathology, I take a collaborative and respectful stance, exploring with clients how their stories, interactions, and contexts influence their wellbeing. By identifying strengths, resources, and new ways of relating, systemic therapy helps individuals, couples and families create more satisfying and resilient relationships.
